Kupwara : Former Jammu and Kashmir chief minister and people’s democratic party chief Mehbooba Mufti on Saturday said we will continue fight for restoration of rights of the people of Jammu and Kashmir.
Addressing a press conference at Kupwara as per Kashmir Despatch Correspondent, Mehbooba Mufti while welcoming the prime minister Narendra Modi to repeal the three farm laws, which were at the centre of protests by farmers for the past year said that we don’t have enough parliament seats like Utrakhand, Punjab but the idea of struggle for restoration of rights of people of Jammu and Kashmir will continue to guide party’s steps in the future as well.
The PDP chief said If BJP took 70 years to scrapple article 370 in Jammu and Kashmir , we will also fight maybe it will take us 70 years, 70 months or 70 days but we will fight politically, legally to strive for strengthening bonds of brotherhood among people and bringing about overall development in the region.
While answering the question on “Hyderpora incident”, Mehbooba said that Lieutenant Governor should took responsibility of this incident as he is supposed to provide safety and security to the people but when such episodes happens it incidates coming time will be very hard for the people.
