Srinagar, June 16 : NSS wing of Degree College Bandipora conducted door to door campaign in the district to aware people regarding coronavirus pandemic.
In a statement issued to Kashmir Despatch reads, The awareness program was carried out across general public of Putushay village of district Bandipora.
The crux of the campaign was to create awareness on preventive measures to be taken inside & outside residential apartments and working places.
Principal Dr. Mohd Amin Malik interacted with villagers and suggested some remedial measures to be taken to ensure a safe & healthy environment under present pandemic circumstances.
NSS coordinator Dr. Aasif Shah also spoke to local people about the precautions to be taken to prevent the spread of coronavirus.
Besides, the team comprised of all teaching and non-teaching staff including NSS volunteers of the college who distributed masks and sanitizers among people.
The District Administration Bandipora has already launched a Covid-19 related awareness campaign under the Hifazat-Bandi to reach the people the statement reads.
