Bandipora, Oct 14:- Member of Parliament from North Kashmir, Engineer Rasheed, stated that the people of the Kashmir Valley should not be disheartened by the National Conference’s U-turn on restoring Article 370.
Speaking with the reporters on the sidelines of a review meeting in District headquarter Bandipora MP Er Rashid said that PM Modi has changed his goal post in which most of the political leaders of Kashmir were trapped.
“National conference who were saying they will restore 1953 status are now hardly seeing restoration of statehood after coming into power, which is also not his priority now.”
Rasheed also takes review of developmental works in Bandipora where he listens to the several public delegations and assures them early redressal for their grievances.
He also opened the grievance cell office for people of Bandipora and released the helpline numbers for people to register their grievances.”I appeal PM Modi and LG Sinha to support the elected government now for the benefit of peoples added Kashmir’s have suffered since the last five years.”
He further added that they will support the government where they will work for the benefit of people. “We will work for the betterment and rights of people whether someone supports us or not.”
