Expresses Concern Over Home Minister’s Apparent Advance Knowledge of EVM Results

Bandipora, Sep 26: The former Chief Minister, Omar Abdullah, stated on Thursday in Bandipora that the BJP is trying to damage the National Conference (NC) in the assembly elections by supporting several independent candidates, along with the Awami Ittehad Party (AIP).
Addressing media in the sidelines of a workers convention in Ajas Bandipora Omar told reporters that among engineer Asiya Andarabi, Masrat Alam, Shabir Shah and Yasin Malik are in detention i’m the same charges but they never get bail, says he was released for 20 days with the target to damage NC vote bank.
Omar alleged BJP for distributing vote banks in Kashmir valley by supporting independent candidates and AIP who will accept the Aug 2019 decision in the assembly.
“Engineer Rasheed who after release said he will fight against Modi’s Naya Kashmir slogan has given a mandate to people who were tagged by BJP in last elections. Giving mandate to him was in the direction of BJP,”.
He added, “Ram Madhav the national general secretary Bharatiya Janata party has been in the valley since last one month even though they have only few candidates in Kashmir they are trying to damage the NC vote bank in which they will not,”.
“Center responsible for low turnout in the second phase, the response was gone to whole from Foreign delegates who visited Kashmir yesterday and were represented by the diplomat for the promotion for tourism,” he further said. “From the statement of Home minister Amit Shah it looks like they know what will be the output from EVM’s, otherwise how can he say with such a confidence that NJP will secure more than 50 seats in J&K,”.
The workers convention was attended by thousands of workers including alliance candidate Bandipora constituency and Hilal Akbar lone candidate for sonawari constituency.
Omar included with the BJP should worry about their own fate instead of targeting NC.
