Ganderbal, Nov 07 : One person lost his life while two others critically injured after Alto 800 car met with an accident on Srinagar-Leh highway near Haji Qabar Sonamarg area of Gund in Ganderbal district on Saturday.
Reports reaching Kashmir Despatch said that an Alto 800 car bearing registration number JK16A 6111 on its way to Kullan from Nilgrath plunged into Nallah Sindh near Haji Qabar Shitkadi Sonamarg after driver loss its control over the vehicle, resulting on spot death of the driver while two others critically injured in the mishap.
Soon after the incident Police party locals rushed to the spot and rescued the injured who were taken to PHC Sonamarg for treatment.
A police officer also confirmed this road mishap to Kashmir Despatch and Identified deceased driver as Suhail Ahmad Bhat son of Abdul Rehman Bhat of Rayil Gund.
