Kupwara, July 26 : One person killed while two others were injured in a road accident in north Kashmir’s Kupwara district on Sunday.
Reports reaching Kashmir Despatch said a four wheeler commercial Tata Sumo bearing registration number JK01T 7930 skidded off the road after driver lost control over his speed and vehicle fell into nallah at Ibkote area of Karnah on Sunday.
In the mishap three passengers were Injured who identified as Rayees Ahmad Son of Zakir Hussain of Ibkote Karnah, Aijaz Ahmad son of Hakim-ul-Din and Yasir Yousuf son of Mohammad Yousuf both residents of Ibkote Karnah.
As per eye witnesses all the injuries trio were taken to the nearby hospital where from doctors reffered them to SDH Tangdhar for advance treatment where one among three succumbed to his injures.
Meanwhile a police officer also confirmed this road mishap to Kashmir Despatch said among three one Rayees Ahmad Son of Zakir Hussain of Ibkote Karnah succumbed to his injures while other two are undergoing treatment. He said a case has been registered and further investigation has been initiated.
