One killed two injured as tractor turns turtle in Kupwara

Kupwara, Sep 24 : One person lost his life while two others sustained injuries after the tractor in which they were traveling in turned turtle in north Kashmir’s Kupwara district on Thursday morning.

Reports reaching Kashmir Despatch said a tractor turned turtle after the driver lost control over the wheels at Thayan Kalaroose on Thursday morning.

In the mishap one person three persons were injured and were rushed to nearby hospital where from one among succumbed to his injures.

A police officer told Kashmir Despatch that one person died and two injured in the mishap. He Identified the deceased as Farooq Ahmad Mir son of Ghulam Qadir Mir of Thayan Kalaroose. While the injured persons were identified as Manzoor Ahmad Dar son of Ghulam Rasool Dar and Bashir Ahmad Mir son of Mohammad Akbar Mir both Kalaroose residents.

The officer further added that the injured ones are undergoing treatment and are said to be stable. He said a case has also been registered in this regard.
