Watergam, Mar 08 : Atleast a dozen shops were gutted when a fire broke out in a main market in Watergam area of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Sunday night.
Reports reaching Kashmir Despatch said the blaze broke out on Sunday night and immediately fire tenders, army, police and locals were rushed to the spot.
The fire was controlled after about hours efforts till that around dozen shops were damaged.
The exact losses are yet to be ascertained.
Meanwhile, a police officer told Kashmir Despatch that the cause of fire was not known immediately, he said a case in this regard has been registered and further investigation has been set up.
