Over Rs 323 crore withdrawn from ATMs ahead of Eid-ul-Fitr

Srinagar, May 02 : On the eve of Eid-ul-Fitr, the consumers of Jammu and Kashmir bank have withdrawn over Rs 323 crore in the Union Territory, officials said on Monday.

Official spokesperson of J&K Bank told the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that a total of 4,26,613 successful transactions have been made across Jammu and Kashmir till this evening.

They said that a total of Rs 323.28 crores were withdrawn from ATMs.

The officials further stated that 44,38,096 database hits have been reported till this evening.

Pertinently, the Muslims across Jammu and Kashmir will celebrate Eid-ul-Fitr tomorrow as the crescent shawal moon was sighted this evening—(KNO)
