Pack of wolves killed 38 sheep, injured 9 in North Kashmir

Pattan, Mar 16, : A pack of wolves killed 38 sheep and wounded 9 others in Pattan area of North Kashmir’s Baramulla district.

The incident occurred on Sunday night in Kungamdara village of Pattan and the sheep were owned by one Muhammad Maqbool Chopan.

Divulging information about the incident, Chopan told that at least two wolves barged into his barn and attacked the flock of sheep. “So for 38 sheep have died while 9 are still critical and I think they all will die,” he said.

While lamenting over the loss, he said that these sheep were the only source of his income and now he is finished.

Earlier also, according to Chopan, leopard had killed his four sheep but this time wolves did the damage reported KNT.
