Paharis, Bakerwal, Gujjars to get their rights soon: HM

Rajouri : Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Tuesday said that Paharis, Bakerwals, Gujjars will get their rights soon in the union territory of Jammu and Kashmir.

Addressing a massive gathering at Rajouri as per Kashmir Despatch, Amit Shah said that the prime minister Narendra Modi is in favour of the recommendations in favour of reservations for Gujjar, Bakerwal and Paharis and the same would be accorded after completion of the requisite administrative process.

He said After the abrogation of 370A, the process for reservation of these sections of the society in J&K has been cleared.

He said, Justice Sharma commission has sent the report and recommended reservation for Gujjar, Bakarwal and Pahari communities and it will be given soon
