Pak shells in Kupwara’s Machil sector in fresh ceasefire violation

Srinagar : India, Pakistan armies on Thursday exchanged trade fire along Line of Control (LOC) in Machil sector of north Kashmir’s Kupwara district.

An official told Kashmir Despatch that the latest ceasefire violation took place at Almora post in Machil sector of Kupwara which was strongly retialated by Indian army.

Official said that no loss of life or injury was reported in the pak shelling.

This is third such incident reported along LoCs in Kupwara district, earlier this week a 60 year old civilian identified as Saleem Ahmed was killed, another man was injured while as many as houses were damaged in a cross shelling in Karnah sector.
