Massive Political Gathering Conducted By Apni Party In Palhallan; Javid Iqbal from Palhalan Joins party cadres during Public Rally

Pattan, 26 July: Have witnessed such a large political rally for the first, says Altaf Bukhari, raised eyebrows after he seemed to praise the large crowd at his rally in Eidgah of Palhallan Pattan area in Baramulla district.

Palhallan, once a hotbed of turmoil, witnessed such a huge political rally for the first after nearly three decades, say locals while talking to Kashmir Despatch.

For the first, People of Palhallan were seen dancing away to the glory at a massively crowded Public Rally organised by Apni Party.

The teeming crowds had come to see and suport local youth, Javid Iqbal, who will now represent Apni Party from Pattan Constituency.

Apni Party President, Altaf Bukhari on sunday said that he never thought that locals of Palhallan will welcome his party with such an enthusiasm.

Adding that Youths of Palhallan want peace, development and prosperity in the area, people of Palhallan were deliberately being defamed and neglected since decades over vote bank politics.

Bukhari added that at least 250 youths are behind the bars in different jails under public safety act & his party will strive to bring them home.

Mehti Begum, a 75-year-old women, was among a bunch of Apni Party supporters, sloganeering and chanting songs in favour of Javid Iqbal while saying a young energetic leader will represent and help us to get our rights back.

“He will fight for developmental and political rights for Pattan Constituency” she added.

Notably, a local leader Javid Iqbal joined the Apni party during the public rally in presence of Senior Vice President Ghulam Hassan Mir, Senior Party Leader Mohammad Dilawar Mir and others were also present on the occasion.
