Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) expressed grief and sorrow over the sad demise of veteran Kashmiri journalist Makbool Veeray, terming his death tragic and deeply disturbing.
PDP spokesman in a statement issued here while expressing solidarity with Mr Veeray’s family has prayed for their patience at this hour of great loss.
The spokesman termed the demise of Maqbool Veeray as an irreversible loss for Jammu and Kashmir’s journalistic fraternity and also has heighted the immense contributions of Veeray in seeking resolutions to the woes the common masses were facing on day to day basis. “He was a legendary and a gentleman who will be known for times to come for his philanthropy and courage. May he rest in peace,” PDP spokesman said in a statement
