Pedestrian hit by biker in Ananthnag, dies

Ananthnag, August 18: A 56-year-old pedestrian was killed after hit by an unknown biker in South Kashmir’s Ananthnag district on Tuesday evening.

Reports reaching Kashmir Despatch said a 56-year-old pedestrian identified as Ghulam Mohammad Dar son of Abdul Rehman Dar of Brakpora Ananthnag was killed after a motorcyclist hit him in the town late this evening.

However, he was rushed to the nearby hospital where doctors declared him brought dead.

Meanwhile, police took cognizance of this road mishap.
