People must maintain peace : Guv Malik

Srinagar, Feb 24 : Governor Satya Pal Malik on Sunday said there is no need to panic regarding the current situation in Kashmir. He said that no decision or step will be taken against the aspirations of Kashmiris.

Governor Malik said he has also chaired a meeting following the panic in Kashmir over some rumours. “I want to assure people that no step or a decision will be taken against the interest of Kashmiris.”
Governor told that people must maintain peace, saying that some persons are involved in creating panic in Kashmir and he has also briefed the situation to New Delhi.
Malik said there was halt in arrival of supply from last 15 days therefore the frequent orders were made from last evening.
