PHE Employee killed, five injured as tractor turns turtle in Sopore

Sopore, 01 May : An employee of Public Health Engineering (PHE) was killed and five other persons sustained injuries after a tractor they were traveling by skidded off the road and turned turtle in north Kashmir’s Sopore village on Friday.

Reports reaching Kashmir Despatch said the mishap took place at Hardshiva village in Sopore this morning When the driver of the tractor lost control over the wheels causing it to overturn and plunge into an orchard.

In the incident one person who identified as Ayaz ul Din Baba son of Ghulam Qadir Baba of Hardshiva a PHE Employee died on spot while five others were rushed to sub district hospital Sopore where doctors reffered one injured to Srinagar hospital for advanced treatment reports added.

Meanwhile police took cognizance of this road mishap.
