Baramulla, June 7: BJP MP Rajya Sabha Er. Gulam Ali Khatana said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has given a new direction to the country in the field of development, national security, International politics, rural development, foreign affairs and others.
He said that during nine years Prime Ministership of Sh. Narendra Modi, India has new heights and innovative ideas like Make in India, Startups, implementation of One Nation, One Country, have been implemented and borders have been secured. Corruptions has become a thing of the past and if Rs. 100 are released for common man, it reaches to the bottom, he said adding the DBT(Direct benefit transfer) has made it sure that the benefits are reaped by the last man in the row and middlemen have been rooted out.
MP Gulam Ali said this while addressing a meeting of mediapersons and social media influencers at Baramulla alongwith Waqf Chairperson Darakshan Andrabi, Abhijeet Jasrotia, spokesperson BJP and Anwar Khan, Prabhari, Baramulla parliamentary constituency, as part of month long 9 Saal Bemisal campaign to highlight the achievements of the Narendra Modi led BJP government.
Prominent among others Ghulam Mohiuddin Sofi, district president, Mudassir Wani, Sangathan Mantri, GM Mir spokesperson, Ex-MLC Surinder Ambardar, Mudassir Hassan Teli, programme incharge were present.
BJP spokesperson Abhijeet Jasrotia presented a power point presentation on the works of Modi led government.
Dr. Darakshan Andrabi highlighted the work of BJP govt especially for women and minorities. She said that bringing Jammu and Kashmir back on rails is a tough task and only BJP can do it.
Participants raised some burning issues of the Baramulla, Kupwara area including press club Baramulla, raising limit of ration, health facilities in peripheral areas of Baramulla especially tribal bastis, ATV etc.
Earlier Ex-MLC Surender Ambardar welcomed the guests. He said that hartals, violence and anti-national activities are now a thing of past.
Prabhari Anwar Khan presented the vote of thanks.
Later MP Khatana conducted Sampark Se Samarthan campaign in Baramulla area and met various persons and apprised them about the policies and achievements of Narendra Modi led Govt.
