NEW DELHI, May 11: Government Higher Secondary School Kreeri district Baramulla is set to Represent Project Prototype “Apple Grading System” at National Technology Week in New Delhi today.

Pertinently, the National Technology Week was inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendera Modi today at pragati maidan in New Delhi.

The Apple Grading System (AGS) Team of Govt. Higher Secondary School Kreeri comprised of  Adnan Lone , Shakir Ahmad And Furqan Bhat along with Mentor Teachers Javid Dar and Mushtaq Ahmad  will be showcasing its innovative project prototype at this event.

Organized to celebrate advancements in technology, the event will provide an ideal platform for local farmers to witness the potential of cutting-edge solutions that can revolutionize the agricultural sector.

The automated and intelligent tool designed to streamline the apple grading process, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.

 It leverages technology to precisely classify apples based on their size, color, and quality attributes. By automating this traditionally labor-intensive task, the system significantly reduces processing time and human errors, resulting in improved productivity and profitability for farmers.

The project prototype will be exhibited at the National Technology Week, where attendees, including farmers, technology enthusiasts, and industry experts, will have the opportunity to witness firsthand the capabilities of the “Apple Grading System.”

Talking to Kashmir Despatch, the students and teachers associated with the prototype AGS said that the system’s intuitive interface and real-time feedback mechanism will be demonstrated, highlighting its user-friendly nature and the value it brings to agricultural operations.

Key Features of the “Apple Grading System”:

Accurate Classification: The system employs advanced technology to precisely wash apples for dust ,pesticides and grade apples based on size, color, and quality, ensuring consistent and reliable results.

Time and Cost Savings: By automating the grading process, the system reduces labor requirements, processing time, and associated costs, leading to increased efficiency and profitability for farmers.

Enhanced Quality Control: The system identifies and segregates apples with defects or imperfections, ensuring only high-quality produce reaches the market, thus maintaining the reputation of local farmers.

Scalable and Customizable: The modular design of the “Apple Grading System” allows for easy scalability and customization to cater to specific farm sizes and production volumes, accommodating the diverse needs of local farmers.

“We invite all participants, media representatives, and stakeholders to visit our booth at the National Technology Week in New Delhi. Our team of Students will be available to provide detailed insights into the project prototype, its functionality, and its potential to revolutionize apple grading practices,” the students of Higher Secondary School Kreeri appealed, while talking to Kashmir Despatch.
