Police announce Rs 30 lakh reward on capture of 3 Hizb militants

KISHTWAR: The Kishtwar District police have announced cash reward of Rs 30 lakh for any information on three militants belonging to militant outfit Hizbul Mujahideen.

Local reports reaching to Kashmir Despatch said that a bounty of Rs 15 lakhs has been announced for militant Mohd Amin while other two Riaz Ahmed and Mudassir Hussain carry bounty of Rs 7.5 lakhs each.

The police have asked the common people to share information about these militants leading to their arrest while assuring that the identity of the potential informants will be kept secret reports said.

The reports further said that Police also pasted posters in parts of Kishtiwar for general public to provide information regarding the militants to catch them live or dead.

It is pertinent to mention here that DODA Police last week announced a reward of Rs 15 lakh on the heads of two most wanted militants in the district.

Kishtwar’s Senior Superintendent of police Harmeet Singh Mehta said that three militants are active in the district and the posters with their pictures have been put up to help people identify them. He said that we hope people will cooperate and will provide the necessary information leading to their capture or killing.
