Bandipora, Nov 07 : Police in north Kashmir’s Bandipora have denied reports of an IED being found along the highway, stating instead that it was a water bottle.
A senior police officer told Kashmir Despatch that the reports of an IED are baseless and that only a water bottle was found on the highway. He confirmed that nothing suspicious was discovered.
Notably, on Wednesday, a Pakistani militant was killed in a gunfight in the woods of Bandipora, while another militant was eliminated in the Lolab area of Kupwara.
