Police ‘Prevent’ 3 Youth From Joining Militancy in Bandipora

Srinagar, June 29 ; Police on Monday claimed to have prevented three youth from North Kashmir’s Bandipora district from joining militant ranks.

A senior police officer told Kashmir Despatch that Bandipora Police prevented 03 youths from joining militancy by Counseling, Guidance and Support and welcome them to the path of peace, progress and success.

The officer said they were influenced and motivated by a false narrative, were likely to join the militant ranks. The officer said after counselled in presence of their family members including parents and later handed over to them.
