SRINAGAR, April 29: Today at about 2020hrs Handwara police received information about a terror crime incident in Beighpora Kralgund area of District Kupwara where militants had fired on an individual. Senior police officers reached at the terror crime spot.
The injured person identified as Ali Mohd Beigh son of Habibullah Beigh resident of Beighpora Kralgund was evacuated to SMHS hospital for treatment of his injuries.
Police has registered a case under relevant sections of law in this regard. Investigation is in progress and officers continue to work to establish the full circumstances of this terror crime.
Area has been cordoned and search in the area is going on to nab the militants.
