Srinagar, May 24 : A policeman sustained injuries after he was hit by a speeding vehicle in Kunzer Chowk of Baramulla district, officials said.
They told GNS that a police constable identified as Zubair Ahmad, was hit by a ‘Scorpio’ bearing registration number (MH06BM 9800) while he was on duty, resulting in injuries to him.
He was removed to a nearby PHC, where the doctors referred him to JVC Srinagar for specialized treatment, they said.
Meanwhile, police have registered a case under relevant sections of law pertaining to the incident and have set the investigations into motion. (GNS)
