Presence of foreign militants in North Kashmir quite less: DGP Dilbagh Singh

Sopore : Director General of Police Dilbagh Singh on Saturday said that there are less number of foreign militants are active in northern region of Kashmir.

As per Kashmir Despatch Correspondent, He made these remarks this during his visit to the slain cop’s residence at Muqam area of Sopore, who was yesterday killed in Bandipora militant attack.

The DGP further said that security forces are on toes to takle the recently inflitors, he said few among have been killed where operations are on to kill other inflitors.

Earlier in a day Inspector General of Police (IGP) Kashmir Vijay Kumar claimed that lone Pakistani militant is involved in yesterday’s Bandipora attack.

He said, “A Single Pakistani militant came and fired upon driver and one PSO of SHO but couldn’t snatched weapon due to retaliation by second PSO”,.
