Sopore, Jun 4: The Auqaf Committee Nigeenbagh Sopore in North Kashmir’s Baramulla district organised a heartfelt felicitation ceremony on Wednesday to acknowledge and encourage the students of the locality who recently qualified their board examinations.
The event, attended by students, parents, and prominent members of the locality, aimed to celebrate academic achievement and inspire further excellence.
During the ceremony, the committee members reiterated their commitment to the educational and moral upliftment of the youth. Meritorious students were presented with certificates of appreciation and gifts, with speakers urging them to continue their journey with dedication and humility.
It is noteworthy that the Auqaf Committee Nigeenbagh in Krankshivan Colony has been at the forefront of various social and community reforms in Sopore — it was among the first to initiate the widely appreciated no-extravaganza marriage campaign, in joint coordination with several other local Auqaf and Mohalla committees.
