Sopore: Musarat Kar, the president of the Municipal Council of Sopore, Wednesday called on Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha at the Raj Bhavan and discussed an array of issues relating to the Sopore subdivision in north Kashmir.
During her conversation with the Lt. Governor, the female president of the Municipal Council discussed a variety of developmental challenges.
Masrat Kar submitted a memorandum of issues and demands of Sopore including Deep Drainage Project for Sopore, establishment of Mini Secretariat, up-gradation Sub District Hospital Sopore, and development of Sopore New Bus Adda at Model Town, besides other public issues.
The Lt Governor patiently listened to all the concerns and demands, and he promised to take proper action in response to any real concerns Musarrat Kar had brought up on merit.
Musarat was encouraged by the Lt. Governor to keep up her efforts for the improvement of the Sopore Municipal Council and the general welfare of the populace.
