The award, presented by Prime Time Research Limited, in recognition of his remarkable work in the field of Mental Health, including his organisational and clinical efforts, community awareness initiatives, and significant research work. The award was conferred upon Prof. Abdul Majid during a glittering ceremony held in New Delhi. The event was graced by the presence of the chief guest, the renowned cricketer and celebrity, Mr. Sunil Gavaskar.
Prof. Majid, a prominent figure in the field of Mental Health, is the current President of the Indian Psychiatric Society – North Zone. Under his leadership, the Department of Psychiatry at SKIMS Medical College Bemina Srinagar has thrived, making it a center of excellence in the domain.
