Srinagar, December 4: A prominent political and social activist from Srinagar’s Chanapora constituency, Dr. Naqeeb Raja, formally joined Apni Party today during an event at the party headquarters in Srinagar.

On this occasion, the party president, Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari, along with other esteemed party leaders, gave a warm welcome to the new entrant. According to a press release issued here, Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari, while extending a warm welcome to Dr. Naqeeb Raja into the party fold, said, “I wholeheartedly welcome you to Apni Party, and I am sure your joining will further strengthen the party cadre in the constituency.”

He added, “It gives me immense pleasure to see experienced political and social activists and leaders aligning themselves with the Apni Party in every corner of Jammu and Kashmir. This is a clear-cut indication that people trust the party’s unambiguous agenda and policies. I am confident that together we can lead Jammu and Kashmir towards new levels of prosperity and development.”

Besides the party president, the prominent leaders present on the occasion included the party’s general secretary, Rafi Ahmad Mir, media advisor Farooq Andrabi, youth provencial president Kashmir Khalid Rathore,
party in charge of Chanapora constituency and ward member Mohammad Ashraf Dar, zonal president Chanapora Aijaz Ahmad Khan, and others.
