Sopore, June 25 : Minor protest erupted in Sopore village after the killing of two local militants in Hardshiva area of town on Thursday afternoon.
Reports reaching Kashmir Despatch said people amid sloganeering protests against the killing of two local militants in the Hardshiva gunfight, However, overall situation in the town remained peaceful reports added.
Sources told this newspaper that two local militants Waleed ul Islam of Behrampora and Bilal Ahmad of Yamberzalwari were killed in hours Gunfight which broke out at Hardshiva at wee hours of Thursday.
Earlier this day, a joint team of Army’s 22 RR, SOG Sopore and CRPF laid a siege to Hardshiva village following inputs about the presence of some militants in the area.
Meanwhile, Inwake of this Gunfight authorities have Suspended internet services in parts of Sopore as a precautionary measure.
