Provocative Speech : Police files chargesheet to JeL activist, other in Ganderbal

Srinagar : District Police Ganderbal in central Kashmir on Monday has charge sheeted two persons including a prayer leader for delivering provocative speeches on the funeral of killed militant Mohammad Rafiq Bhat.

An official told Kashmir Despatch two persons were charge sheeted including a prayer leader Mohammad Rafiq Shah son of Abdul Ahad Shah resident of Shuhana Ganderbal , Bashir Ahmed Lone son of Abdul Samad resident of Brain Nishat for delivering provocative speeches on the funeral of slain militant at Chhundna village in central Kashmir.

Officer said a case FIR no. 71/2018 U/S 13 ULAP act was registered at Police Station Ganderbal and during the investigation the alleged offences were substantiated and the case after conclusion of investigation was forwarded to Government of Jammu and Kashmir for obtaining sanction to launch prosecution.

Officer said GOK has accorded sanctioned into the case and accordingly Police at Ganderbal chargesheeted both accused persons before special ULAP court at Srinagar.
