Pulwama: The National Investigation Agency (NIA) after achieving a breakthrough in the Pulwama case by arresting an over ground worker (OGW) of Pakistan based militant outfit Jaish-e-Mohammad now have arrested his father for questioning on Saturday.
Reports reaching Kashmir Despatch said soon the claim about the breakthrough in Pulwama case, the National Investigation Agency (NIA ) raided many locations of south Kashmir and later after conducted searches sealed the house of arrested OGW in Hajibal Kakapora Pulwama.
Reports said the NIA team after searching the house of arrested OGW also arrested his father for questioning purposes.
Shakir Bashir Magray son of Bashir Magray of Hajibal Kakapora Pulwama as per NIA issued statement provided shelter and other logistical assistance to the suicide bomber Adil Ahmed Dar.
The statement said He was introduced to the suicide bomber Adil Dar in the mid 2018 by a Pakistan militant viz. Mohammad Umar Farooq and he became a full-time OGW of JeM.
OGW Shakir Bashir Magray was produced before the NIA special court at Jammu on Friday and remanded to 15 days of NIA custody for his detailed interrogation.
