Pulwama parts shut to mourn militant killings

Pulwama,Dec 31 : A complete shutdown was observed in parts of Pulwama district in south Kashmir on a third consecutive day on Monday to mourn the killing of four militants killed during an encounter with government forces.
Reports said that all the shops and other business establishments were closed in parts of Pulwama and its adjoining areas while a thin movement of traffic was also seen on the roads.
Four Jaish militants were killed in an encounter with government forces in Hanjan Rajpora area of Pulwama district on Saturday.
Reports said that people are continiously visiting the residences of slain militants to offer condolences.
