Punjab resident dies of cardiac arrest in Pulwama

Pulwama, Sep 23 : A resident of Punjab died of cardiac arrest on Saturday in South Kashmir’s Pulwama district, officials said.

An official told news agency Kashmir Scroll that a 70-year-old man identified as Gurmeet Singh, son of Dhunda Singh of Moga, Punjab, was riding a bike (TVS victor).

The officer said he was on his way to Litter from Rakh; however, as soon as he reached Litter main market, he felt unconscious and fell to the ground.

However, locals present there immediately took him to a nearby hospital, where doctors declared him dead on arrival.

Meanwhile, the police in this case initiated an investigation under the U.S. 174 CRPC Act. (KS)
