Qayoom Wani to quit EJAC, Teachers Forum today, to join PDP for entering electoral fray

Srinagar, Feb 01 : Top trade unionist of Jammu and Kashmir and President Jammu and Kashmir Teachers Forum (JKTF) is all set to quit Jammu and Kashmir Teachers Forum (JKTF) and Employees Joint Action Committee (EJAC) to join Jammu and Kashmir Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to enter the electoral fray as PDP candidate from North Kashmir Lok Sabha constituency in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.

Top sources while disclosing this to news agency that Qayoom Wani after quitting Jammu and Kashmir Teachers Forum (JKTF) and as well as Jammu and Kashmir Employees Joint Action Committee (J&K EJAC) today to join PDP in coming few days.
Wani is supposed to contest upcoming Lok Sabha elections as PDP candidate from North Kashmir Lok Sabha constituency. After recent dissensions in the PDP the Wani’s joining will be a major boost for the party.

Talking to local news agency, Wani confirmed his joining the PDP, Wani said he is preparing documents to resign from the posts today.
In view of Wani’s joining, PDP patron and Member parliament, Muzaffar Hussain Baigh will address a press conference in Jammu at 11:30 on Saturday. (KNS)
