Anantnag, March 26: Apni Party General Secretary and Former MLA, Rafi Ahmad Mir on Friday strongly condemned the Anantnag incident where a woman was allegedly set ablaze by her in-laws at Anantnag.
According to a party handout, Mir said that such incidents should be strictly dealt with and hoped that the administration will take a keen interest in putting the perpetrators behind bars. “Society should work towards the upliftment of women. These inhuman incidents should be rigorously condemned”, Mir said.
Mir demanded a swift inquiry into the alleged incident and hoped that justice will be served.
