Jammu Jan 25: Hitting out hard on Bharat Jodho Yatra and Rahul Gandhi, the Democratic Azad Party on Wednesday said that the Congress leader is misled by the people surrounding him about the facts and ground situation. The party General Secretary R.S.Chib said that only three leaders expelled by party chairman Ghulam Nabi Azad had joined Congress. However, one who holds the constituency later re-joined DAP and the two remaining have no political constituency. Chib said that the love and respect for their party Chairman Ghulam Nabi Azad have brought hundreds of political leaders, workers from Congress after he formed the new party that has rattled the Congress at the core and is now working in damage control mode. Not only Congress, but many leaders from other parties also joined our party. He said Rahul Gandhi is faking his love and sympathy with the people of Jammu and Kashmir since it is maintaining deliberate silence on issues like Article 370 abrogation, land, jobs and the recent terrorists strikes in Jammu and Kashmir. Even he is walking alongside the leaders who spoke against the Indian army. Taking along such anti national elements reflects the mind-set of Congress party towards the Nation,” he said.
He said Congress can’t muster the courage and hold political gatherings in any part of Jammu Kashmir. “DAP is holding the protests against land eviction orders and attract crowds comprising thousands of workers. I challenge Congress which talks lies and deceit hold any such protest and gather the crowd of same or half of its size,” Chib said. He said that even the local leadership of JKPCC is far away from the facts on grounds. The president of JKPCC Vikar Rasool to secure his position give a rosy picture to his boss despite the fact the situation is totally opposite to their expectations. Ever since they entered Jammu Kashmir for Bharat jodo yatra, the local leadership is begging for the crowds to local political parties. They have lost their ground in Jammu and Kashmir and that’s the reality.
