GANDERBAL: Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Ganderbal Khalil Ahmed Poswal on Saturday said tight security arrangements have made in view of Republic Day as forces have intensified checking across Ganderbal district.
Talking to Kashmir Despatch, SSP Ganderbal Khalil Poswal said, “With regarding the celebration of Republic Day, 2021, from the last six-day we have intensified the checking in the Ganderbal District and we have called the suspect from many areas”.
He added, “We are trying to cover each and every corner of Ganderbal district and we have strengthening nakas on the inter-district areas.
Whereas along with other security forces the Jammu and Kashmir police forces have made a security grid as we are keeping vigil in the night as well so as to curtail the moment of anti-national moments”.
“Coming four days are going to be high alert our security forces as we will make sure that Republic Day is celebrated peacefully and with government, ordering hosting of tri colour on government buildings we are going to provide cover to each and every location”, SSP Ganderbal said.
“Also we are prepared for everything as Jammu and Kashmir police are keeping an eye on every location and every person round the clock”, he added.
