Release pending wages of HDF employees, casual and need based: Yawar Mir

Srinagar, Apr 30 : Jammu Kashmir Apni Party (JKAP) leader Yawar Mir on Thursday appealed Lieutenant Governor Girish Chandra Marmu to release the wages of HDF employees and other casual and need based employees of several departments who are without salaries from more than a year.

In a statement, Yawar Mir who is also a former MLA from Rafia-Abad constituency, appealed LG Murmu to release pending wages of HDF employees and other casual and need based employees who have put their lives at stake in the pandemic times.

He said the employees working under HDF are diploma holders, professional electricians, drivers etc and authorities should immediately release their wages as they too have families and responsibilities on their shoulders.

He also said the causal labors and need based employees are putting their lives at risk while performing their duties in pandemic times, so authorities should take due care of their needs.
