Rescue ops launched after two siblings drown in Jhelum in Baramulla

Baramulla, Jan 28 : A massive rescue operation was launched on Friday after two siblings drowned in river Jhelum near Khawaja Bagh area of Baramulla district.

An official told Kashmir News Service (KNS) that two brothers drowned in Jhelum while extracting sand near Khawaja Bagh area. 

He said that soon after the incident a massive rescue operation was launched to trace the duo.

The official identified the duo as Hilal Ahmad Malla and Naseer Ahmad Malla of Bandipora (KNS)
