Srinagar: In a bid to restructure the organization an important meeting of executive committee of JKGCWF was held at Srinagar which was presided over by the chief patron of the organization Mr Syed Aftab Ahmad Indrabi and hosted by Chief Advisor Mr G.M.Akhoon.
In his adress Mr Indrabi gave a warm welcome to the new members and highlighted the role of the organization and the issues faced by the people of general category.
Chairman of the organization, Mr Syed Shamim Ahmad urged the members to work with zeal and zest and take all possible measures to strengthen the organization at the grassroot level.
State Organizer, Mr Feroz Ahmad Wani in his short but emotional address shared the painful stories of general category candidates who despite being meritorious could not excel due to barriers created under the pretext of category system.
Those who also deliberated on the issues of GC people include vice chairman Mr Farooq Ahmad Mir Shabir Ahmad , Showkat Ahmad Tariq Nabi and general secretary Mr Aadil Ramzan.
