Residential house gutted in fire mishap in Nowpora Baramulla

Baramulla, August 13: A residential house was gutted in an accidental fire in Miragund area of Nowpora in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Thursday.

Reports reaching Kashmir Despatch said a fire broke out in the residential house of Syed Nisar Ahmad Bukhari son of Late Syed Gayas-ul-din Bukhari at Miragund Nowpora on Thursday afternoon.

Reports said fire tenders were deployed from the nearby station to douse the flames but couldn’t save whole building.

The fire was under control with the efforts of fire service team, locals and police.

A police officer told Kashmir Despatch that police is verifying the incident. The officer said no loss of life or any other injury was not reported in the fire mishap. The reason for the fire is yet to be ascertained officer added.
