Road Safety Training Continues in Srinagar with Expert Insights

Srinagar, 25th September 2025: Day 2 of the three-day Road Safety Capacity Building Course on the Motor Vehicles Act and Rules, sponsored by MoRTH, commenced at IHM Rajbagh, Srinagar. Organized by AITD, New Delhi, the training saw participation from MoRTH, J&K Transport Department, and Traffic Police officials. Former DGP Shri Satyendra Garg shared strategies on reducing road accident fatalities, while Shri Anil Chhikara discussed the latest Motor Vehicles Act provisions. Chhikara and Shri Sandeep Kumar also briefed the J&K Transport Secretary on the course objectives and transport sector updates. The programme, concluding on 26th September, included a felicitation ceremony honoring Shri Garg for his contributions.
