SAAYA organizes an interactive workshop in Srinagar

SRINAGAR : SAAYA – Shadow of Hope, on 29-10-2022, organised an interactive workshop in collaboration with the Millennium Fellowship Project Team, University of Kashmir, at Al-Falah Yateem Trust, Hamdania Colony, Sector-1, Bemina, Srinagar, J&K.

In a statement issued to Kashmir Despatch, reads the members interacted with the students and asked them about their hobbies and aspirations, their lives at the orphanage, the kind of treatment meted out to them, the nature of facilities provided to them, the quality of education being received, whether they are of scholarships, and the like

The members also met with the staff of the said trust and sought information about the many issues they encounter in managing the orphanage.

The importance of friendship, knowing their destiny, and other moral principles like sharing and caring were also taught to the pupils. Additionally planned was a naat recitation session, which was followed by the interview.

The SAAYA delegation included the SAAYA’s President and Head of the Executive Working Body, Mr. Khaleel F. Shah; Chief Coordinator, Mr. Umar Masoodi; Spokesperson, Ms. Rehana Rashid; Deputy Secretary (Memberships), Ms. Aatina Zehgir; Coordinator, Mr. Arbaz Manzoor; along with the members, Ms. Zainab Javeed, Mr. Danish Jahangir and Ms. Sirhan Sameer the statement reads.
