‘Save Youth Save Future” lend helping hand amid COVID-19 lockdown in Baramulla

In a time where the number of coronavirus cases continues to go up in the valley, A Local NGO in north Kashmir’s Baramulla come forward to lend a helping hand to the residents who found themselves without food in the wake of 21-day COVID-19 lockdown in the country.

An NGO namely Save Youth Save Future run by Wajahat Farooq Bhat along with his members has tried to arrange food for the people living in far-flung areas in the district who are affected by the lockdown.

The team identified many locations in far-flung areas of Baramulla district and are providing food and other daily essentials to the people affected by this lockdown.

Speaking to Kashmir Despatch NGO head Wajahat Farooq said “We cannot afford people to assemble in large outside the houses or streets, so we decided to reach out people and provide food items to them at their doorsteps,” he said on the humanitarian effort being made by our team to do this noble cause and also to aware people about this increasing COVID-19.
