Schools to reopen for Class 9-12 in Kargil from tomorrow

Srinagar, Aug 01 : The administration of Union Territory of Ladakh on Sunday ordered reopening of schools in Kargil district for 9-12 classes in staggered manner from August 02.

According to the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), Ladakh Disaster Management Authority (LDMA) has said, “With strict adherence of the COVID-19 SOPs issued by the Chief Education Officer Kargil and the District Administration, the Schools classes from 9th to 12th shall be started August 02-2021.”

“Residential Schools for these classes may also be opened subject to RTPCR test of all students, teachers and employees involved,” the Ladakh administration said.

The order further reads that the classes shall be staggered in a manner that it is not filled with more than the 50 percent of the seating capacity—(KNO)
