Srinagar, Jan 31 : The sub divisional administration Kangan has issued an advisory to the general public in view of snowfall and has asked the general public not to venture in avalanche prone areas.
SDM Kangan, Javid Ahmad, according to news agency Kashmir Dot Com in an advisory, has asked the general public to take necessary precautions and avoid venturing in the Avalanche prone areas.
In an avalanche warning issued on 30 Jan, the JKDMA has warned of an avalanche with ‘medium to danger level’ above 1500 to 2500 meters over some districts of Jammu and Kashmir including Ganderbal district in the next 24 hours. (KDC)
