Second Batch of Kashmiri Medical Students from Bangladesh to Arrive Today: DC Srinagar

Srinagar, May 12 : Authorities on Tuesday said that another batch of 169 medical students who got stuck in Bangladesh after lockdown restrictions enforced countrywide will arrive in today afternoon.

Deputy Commissioner (DC) Srinagar Dr Shahid Iqbal Chowdhary in a tweet said, “Welcome back. Second flight with 169 Medical students from Bangladesh to land today”.

Earlier 160 students studying in various professional colleges in Bangladesh arrived Srinagar on May 8 which provided a sigh of relief to thousands of parents who had repeatedly appealed authorities to bring their kids back to home in wake of Covid-19 pandemic situation.
