Eyewitness said that the attendant was thrashed by a security guard in Sub District Hospital (SDH) Sopore on Tuesday following which the hospital administration terminated the guard from his services.
An official from the SDH Sopore told Kashmir Despatch that the attendant namely Mir Jahangir Salam reported to BMO’s office that he was allegedly thrashed while his mother was misbehaved by a security guard near x-ray room.
Block medical officer, Sopore Dr Zulfiqar Nabi told Kashmir Despatch that the security guard was terminated from his duties after negotiations between the complainant and accused failed.
“The security guard was terminated from the services against a complaint by a male attendant. We won’t allow anyone to take law into his hands,” BMO Sopore added.
