Accused held case registered: Police
Handwara, April 26 : In a bizarre incident, a woman lost her life after being axed by a self-styled Godman in north Kashmir’s Handwara village on Friday.
Sources told Kashmir Despatch that a woman who had gone to visit the self-styled godman, Ghulam Rasool, aka ‘Las Babb’, was allegedly hit by the latter several times on her head.
However, she was immediately taken to GMC Handwara where doctors referred her to SKIMS Soura. However, before reaching there, she succumbed to her injuries.
Meanwhile, a senior police officer told Kashmir Despatch that the accused Godman has been arrested and a case in this regard has been registered, and further investigation has been initiated.
